Customer Reviews:

  Brilliant!! (01 September 2010)
This is the most valuable book I've bought for a long time. I've always thought about life and work in the way Timothy Ferriss does and I country-hop all the time like him, working for myself. What was really great for me about this book is that it bursts my illusion that I cannot also earn good money leading a life like this but now I see I actually can while still doing all the things I love! Great stuff!!

Good book but kindle price is a rip-off (12 August 2010)
Tim explains how to become location independent, how to outsource your work abroad and many other useful tips.

Having read the book when it first came out I was interested in having the Kindle version but I'm not going to get ripped off1

The Kindle version falls into the Kindle rip-off price category having no discount of any real sort. Publishers should realize that people are boycotting electronic books that don't come with a significant DISCOUNT ... after all the publishers costs are *MUCH* lower!

  Surprisingly Good (11 August 2010)
Dispite the hype and the endorsements by self help gurus like Jack Canfield (which puts me off anything) this book is actually quite good.

The best chapters are the 3 on autopilot income, giving you step by step instructions to building an online business where you can outsource day to day operations. They are truly excellent, containing information I've not seen elsewhere - this is worth the book alone and has definitely inspired me to give it ago. He also provides an impressive range of links, which although US based can still be helpful to overseas readers.

Whilst I do get the feeling Ferris is slightly nuts - some of his suggested excercises include lying down in public for 10 seconds - he does give the reader an alternative way of looking at life and employment. You might not be working for only 4 hours per week after reading this book, but he should have at least given you plenty of ideas which could see you living a more fufilling lifestyle.

  Amazing (26 July 2010)
This book actually gives quite practicle advice compared with the usual junk. Although I am not sure if I can completely change my life it has definately helped me to improve some of my day to day activities.

  I've bought it 3 times (03 July 2010)
Although this book contains some of the "vagueness" inherent in any business/ lifestyle design tome (I'm thinking along the lines of "Think and Grow Rich", "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" etc), Tim Ferriss does give you a very real, logical and do-able blueprint for success. You really have to take your hand off to Ferriss, if he has actually achieved more working his 4-hours than most of us do with a 40-hour week.

Give this book a chance! I've bought it and then sold it three times. Every time I sell it I regret doing so and end up buying it all over again.
