| | Customer Reviews: No nonsense good advice (23 February 2010)If you're looking for good, uncomplicated advice then this is the book for you. Not saying it has all of the in depth answers but it gives a great introduction to what can be a very daunting 'leap of faith'. It contains the wording for a shorthold tenancy agreement which I used recently for the tenants of my very first buy to let purchase. Don't waste your money on the more 'complicated' guides out there, try this one first and you'll save yourself a lot of money! To the point and factual... (13 October 2009)Unlike other authors who brag and waffle, this author is to the point and gives practical advice. It has taught me a lot and it's very very realistic...its not saying you can make loads of money ...it's factual and says you can make money but realistically this is how you can achieve it...using calculations for yield, rental income etc. I have learnt so much from this book and never knew how involved the whole process was...picking the property, negotiating, conveyancing, decor, tax, yield, etc etc. Thank you so much for this! | |
