(06 September 2010)A absolute must for anyone who regularly suffers at the paws of those Feline Fiends who allow us to share their abode. Simon's cat will make you laugh out loud when you realise that you are not the only one to be connned ,tricked and bullied by your Furry Friend :) I can not wait for book 2 to land on the door mat.. A "must-have" book if you are a cat-owner (21 August 2010)Very funny, very special book - great for leaving next to your guest-bed, or in the loo! A brilliant book you can just pick up whenever you have a few moments spare (although I can't guarantee you'll put it down again easily). My partner remarked that this book is similar to Garfield - in a way he is right, but I think this book is better because you can relate to this more with your own cat-experiences. An excellent study in feline behaviour (21 May 2010)This is a wonderful book, although with no words in it. It turns out to be just as funny as the little movies we all know from Youtube. Very entertaining, and once you're done laughing it dawns on you that Simon must have great love for his cat(s). It says everyone knows a cat like Simon's cat, and it does catch every angle of feline behaviour just right. For that very reason we call the book "Gunnar's Book" in out house - you'd think Simon had made this book just to describe the daily life of our cat Gunnar. It is just excellent in every way and an absolute must-own for all cat lovers. Amazing, pure class (17 May 2010)Very well drawn, hugely witty and very well paced to actually give little glimpses of narrative as you flick through. Got this for my girlfriend and the absolutely adores it and looks at it all the time even after 6 months. 10/10, great for any cat lover. | |
