Excellent book. I was positively inspired. One should carry it like a little everyday manual.

years later, it still has great influence. (12 January 2010)
I read this book when I was in high school, about four years ago.
The other reviewers have already covered what I would say about Robert's
message.
But what I will say, is that although the message in the book can easily be
understood by a 12 year old, it is still vitally important.

It did virtually nothing for my "Financial Intelligence", and neither did the books in
his "advisor series", in comparison to the other books I have studied since.

What it did do though, was give me the impetus and direction that my life so needed.
In addition to this, it gave me the desire to educate myself. Maybe too much desire..I was in high school at the time, and knew the areas I wanted to study. They were, of course, not in the curriculum. Thus I left school (Perhaps not Kyosaki's intended effect).

But anyway, to cut that long story short, I went back and finished high school, and am now in university. My grades have increased from 70's (Which I maintained throughout my childhood) to 90's.
Not only this, but I developed a great love for learning, among other things. Others will have different stories to tell, but this is mine.

Roberts lessons about money are well worth your consideration. Even if you are well acquainted with the workings of the business world, and with money in general, you may gain some helpful insights from this book. Buy it, read it. You can do it in a few hours.

not worth buying (30 December 2009)
I bought this book on the recommendation of a colleague, whose attitude towards money is rather different from my own. Well, I read the book and I didn't like it because it reads like a novel, nor of its dubious money-making suggestions. If you must read this book, find it in your local library and save yourself a purchase.

  A Great Investment (23 December 2009)
Money well spent. This book has changed my perspective, therefore my life.
Such great advice, simple and uncomplicated. It encourages a mindset for wealth
and gives practical ways to follow through. Not a month has gone by since reading
this book when I haven't put aside some monies in my newly created asset column for myself.
Its inspirational and encourages creativity. Love it! I will read it again and again.
