| ![]() | Customer Reviews:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() GREAT! (27 July 2004)My wife and I travel every chance we get and we pass the evenings away by reading the latest 'good book'. This book was filled with great mini-stories and information never before talked about regarding the Letourneau case. We enjoyed the book very much. We also read Mass With Mary: Thr Prison Years and loved it, too. Both books were given to us as gifts before we left the states and we couldn't have asked for better reading material...thanks kids. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() the spirit of love (03 March 2001)this story maybe represent the life which we would like to have it, to have the real feelings which we need it, even we may faces many problems, but who love, he must do the impossible to give his life the satisfying he see it.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Gregg Olsen is an excellent writer. (30 August 1999)I loved the book, I couldn't put it down. I have read three of Gregg Olsen's books and all of them have been excellent. I look forward to reading the rest of his books and any more that he puts out. He places a different light on what happened behind the scenes with Mary Kay Letourneau and her lover. Not everything is black and white and Gregg Olsen proved it. He did a lot of research and is good about not being bias in his writing. I recommend this book and any other books that he has written. I look forward to anything else he may produce in the future. Gregg, keep up the good work. I'm not much of an author follower but you and Ann Rule may change me yet! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Finally, the background that was needed about this case. (22 August 1999)I am also a former Psychiatric Nurse, and the clues that the author picked up on throughout the book are very much to his credit. Yes, she may have a psychiatric disorder that is very much treatable with compliance in her medication regimen. LeTourneau decides not to do this, and also makes many poor decisions in her life. She is really not a sympathetic character, but a fascinating personality. I am glad that the author spent as much time as he did on her childhood and birth family as this also adds to unraveling the puzzle. But in the end, she is responsible for her actions. Highly recommend to any lover of true crime stories. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Vili is ruined. (20 August 1999)Even if it had been true love once she gets out Vili will be old enough to not be excited by the ' forbidden.' Why? He will be of age and all the things that excited him with her will be common place. | ![]() |
