  Wonderful (16 March 2007)
A truly wonderful book that had me in tears on more-than-one occassion (including on a crowded rush hour train out of London Bridge station one evening). it may not be 100% believable - but who cares. It's well written and should appeal to young and old. I love it.

  I loved this book! (08 November 2006)
This book was one of the best books i have ever read! I had to read it for a book report in my 8th grade english class. Some nights i was up past midnight reading this book. It was about a young, abused boy, who lived w/ his single mother in london. Untill she sent him off to live with Mr. Thomas Oakley, because of WW II.

I liked this book because it gave you alot of information on what kid my age, yonger and older, went though just for their safty. Also the way Michelle Magorian wrote, with awesome details, you got pictures in you head of what the charecters looked like and what was going on in the story.

  A Must Read (14 September 2006)
Do you know what? I was absolutley speechless after I read this book. All I could do was think about it. It is a beutiful story and is wonderfully written, and I recommend it to everyone

Goodnight Mister Tom (23 May 2006)
I absolutely loathe this book. There is no way that a sickly boy from London could so quickly have been enveloped in the warm arms of the eccentric, but kindly, country life, as it is here portrayed. Everybody loves dear little Will, even though he has the personality of a wet mop. And when he suddenly becomes like his friend Zach? Is a bouncy personality lurking beneath every subdubed character, which only needs something to bring it out? yeah. right.

Good Night Mr Tom! Best Book! (17 April 2006)
Goodnight Mr Tom is a extremely poingnant and touching story.
Willie Beech is evacuated from the country and stays with Mr Tom Oakley, a widowed and cantankerous man. But Willie makes friends with some of the children in the village and they all find themselves feeling at home. But then when everything is going smoothly Toms mother summons Willie home. Willie does not want to go since he does not want to face the belt again....
