I found it vaguely useful, but anyone looking for more than 5 ideas from this book would be disapointed. Essentially this is a whole thick book of American country kithen photographs-often repeated or in close-up,of white shaker/country units surrounded by clutter.The narrative is non-existant and even photograph descriptions struggle with the lack of new source material.I would say that this was put together by a picture editor rather than an author.

Had been trying to bring more kitchiness into my kitchen...was spending far too much on magazines then stumbled across this brilliant book, photos after photos, very inspirational and you see something different everytime you look at it, even on the same photo....go on buy it...you won't regret it.Country Living: 500 Kitchen Ideas: Style, Function & Charm
