(18 December 2008)I mentioned to a new boyfriend that one of the things i had on my 'things to do before i die' list was to try every position in the kama sutra - an idea he pounced on!!. After looking at afew books, i decided on this modern version that includes all of the positions in the kama sutra. I marked afew pages, left it with him and he marked some more and voila, communication problems in the bedroom were solved!!. As a shy person this book really has been the simplest way for me to communicate what i'm looking for!. The pictures enable you to quickly visualise the positions, as apposed to reading complex instructions that don't always seem to make sense (i had visions of me holding the book and calling out 'left abit, lift leg' etc :)). The only improvement perhaps would be to use afew couples in the picture of different shapes and sizes, say from the skinny, average and curvy range, so every one can relate to the pictures, as i did find myself comparing my body to the seemingly 'perfect' body of the woman in the pictures (need another book on self esteem perhaps?! lol) The layout of the book is simple, concise and the book itself is small enough to fit in my handbag. I also like the the checklist of positions to tick off - heres to ticking off my list!!! Awesome! (02 December 2008)This is a great book. It's for couples, or for those of us who will soon be!! It's got lots of daring exercies that can really add some spice, which is what I am most definitely looking for. I can't recommend this one enough! Loved the bit about the Kama Sutra, too! I also liked: Good Sex: A Woman's Guide to Losing Inhibition. Awesome book (21 July 2008)This book is not for the faint hearted!! The pictures are explicit but nice to look at slightly arty. There are brief explanations next to them but to be honest you don't need them at all. Just looking through the book with your partner is enough to put you in the mood!! If you are not very good at explaining what you want then this book is great as most things are covered from different positions to a bit of role play and foreplay positions. Would highly recommend this book!! | |
